National Ice Cream Month

Anytown, USA

When the North American Ice Cream Association (yep, that’s a thing) calls, you don’t screen the call. You pick up immediately and enthusiastically, which is exactly what we did when asked to build a microsite for National Ice Cream Month. We love ice cream and we love websites, so to have an opportunity to merge those two into a single project is the kind of thing dreams are made of.

The website is meant to encourage engagement with local ice cream shops by prompting patrons to hop on the site, select their shop, and submit their name which updates a counter and plays an awesome celebration animation – complete with confetti. A small project, but an absolute treat nontheless. Shout out to Steve, Val, and all the ice cream heads out there. Keep on scoopin’!

Why is this website awesome?

Mobile-friendly

This website looks amazing on any device of any size, and is painstakingly optimized for mobile phones. It’s lightweight and built to adapt.

Progressive images

We load the smallest version of each image and then load the larger version in the background. This allows the website to load quickly and images to ultimately be crystal clear.

Easily maintained

Our websites are built with the client in mind. We ensure everything you see is easily editable. No confusing template manipulation. Just fill out fields and upload images.

Custom designed

No boring templates here. We custom designed this website to perfectly match the company’s brand. There’s no other website just like it, and it’s been handcrafted to the owner’s specifications.

James has made my wildest website fantasies transform into realities. Where I lacked vision or direction, he was able to fill in the blanks and he held my hand every step of the way until we had created a beautiful masterpiece of internet revelry. He knows his craft intimately and can translate my basic simple-human-speak requests and bring them to fruition. Great ongoing support and attention to detail.
